Our initial business, back in 2004, was establishing first TacT and then Lyngdorf Audio UK. Much was learnt about room correction systems, and the blights that cause hi-fi equipment to suffer. During this phase, we discovered that room problems were only one inhibitor to system performance. Mains, isolation and other issues were equally, if not more important. In 2006, we evolved into Blade Audio, evangelizing system set-up and seeking the best performing audio products available.
There is no substitute for correct system set-up. In an industry which has seen too many 'me too' products and too many irrelevant reviews, we offer something that is often forgotten and overlooked - service and knowledge - to help you build a musically rewarding system.
Over time we have 'honed' our product range from those we really liked to products we really love. Some of these are expensive, some are not. Some are in the spotlight with enthusiastic followers, some have a low-key cult following, some are the darlings of reviewers. All of them perform.

From time to time we exhibit at the obiquitous hi-fi shows around the U.K.
This is often achieved with support from our partners (dCS, Focal etc) and co-hosting with our like-minded colleagues at AudioWorks.
Live versus recorded events are perhaps the ultimate challenge, and we, together with the AudioWorks and sponsored through dCS, were fortunate enough to have been put to the test at 2 great venues.
The picture to the right gives a glimpse of the challenge at Cambridge University with performances from Britten Sinfonia. You may notice our system in the background - dCS Scarlatti, David Berning amplifiers, Focal Grand Utopia, Stillpoints component stand racks and MusicWorks power loom. Both live and recorded performances were of the highest order.
